Limping From a Bite

Hollowtree hobbled through the camp, his body shaking a bit, and his ice eyes dull with pain and agony. He looked around. Yellowpaw had all but disappeared. He no longer had an Apprentice to help him in his time of misery. He'd checked on his leg every day, washed the leg downstream, but it wouldn't heal. He was terrified.'What if I'm no longer fit to be Medicine Cat? I'm too young to be an elder. I can't... This is my life.' Do you find this valuable?

Hollowtree looked back at Littlefoot, and he answered in his cool voice, "Nothing... I mean, nothing that will affect the Clan." And he added, 'Except their Medicine cat.'
