Silverpaw jumped outof the kit's grasp and looked at Scholarkit. Her eyes studied him. He certainly was interesting. She liked him, his eyes may betray him, but he had his qualities to make up for them.

Thrushkit noticed Silverpaw gazing at Scholarkit. An intense envy rose up inside him. He padded over to Silverpaw. "Hey, wanna play too?" he mewed then added more softly,"I think it would make you feel better..." He had a little bit of feelings for the she-cat and he didn't want to lose her so quickly.

Silverpaw looked back to Thrushkit, "Wasn't I already?" She smiled. Thrushkit would be a good warrior, and Scholarkit would be a good advisor. She'd have to talk to Shimmerpaw soon about this.

Scholarkit's eyes flicked over to where the kits had all moved. He meowed a bit defensively, "I don't want to be an elder, but I suppose I'm not able to do anything else. I just hate the thought that I'll never be able to hunt..."
