Thrushkit's Take On Life

Thrushkit sat tearing up a leaf that had fallen to his paws. He stared at the pieces. It reminded him of how simple life could be and yet how cruel it could become. Life was sometimes as easy as tearing up a leaf. But trying to put those pieces together again was a different story. It was impossible, just as life was too difficult at times. Another leaf landed at his paws. He didn't tear it up. The unharmed leaf represented the choice all cats make in their lives. It is up to them to keep their lives on track. In short, the choices one makes dictates the life they will have. Thrushkit had barely scraped the surface of life. He still had those choices to make. The question was: Can he make the right ones?

"Hey Thrushkit" a bubbly voice giggled behind Thrushkit. Silverpaw's big blue eyes glimmered with admiration for the little kit, "Wanna play with something bigger then leaves?"

Thrushkit looked up to see Silverpaw. He was sad that he was still in the nursery while Silverpaw had moved on. "Sure!...But are you sure you want to play with a kit?..." he mewed uncertainly.

Silverpaw closed her eyes and smiled, "I was a kit only a while ago. I still consider myself a kit. So, if yiur wondering if I want to play with a kit, then yes, yes I do"

Scholarkit sprang out, his wide emerald eyes locked on the scuffle. His shining golden fur was very clean. He mewed to Thrushkit, "That move works better if you have more than one kit. See, she's larger than you. Although I suppose you could cling to her shoulders where she can't reach you..."He wasn't called Scholarkit for no reason; he researched everything. Oceankit sprang into the action. He was one of the youngest litter, but extremely wily and outgoing. "I will!" He cries, and darts under Silverpaw,trying to trip her up.

I just want to be a respected member of the Clan." "Why?" Feralpaw, retorted, looking a bit angry, Scholarkit murmured, "My eyes don't connect with my brain.
